SUPPORT BHS JAZZ

PayPal ButtonPayPal Button

All of us at BHS Jazz are grateful for the generous donations provided by our donors! Thank you. BHS Jazz is a registered non-profit organization (Berkeley High School Jazz, federal Tax ID 30-0329300), and all donations are tax deductible in the U.S. (to the extent allowed by law). You will receive a thank-you letter acknowledging your donation that can serve as a receipt.

Public school JAZZ musicians need your support.

BHS Jazz students are dedicated to musicianship, creativity, diversity and community. Your generous tax-deductible gift will support our dynamic programs and help secure a quality jazz music education for all BHS Jazz students that will serve them for life – whether as musicians, aficionados, jazz supporters or champions of arts education. Together we can help the next generation of jazz thrive. Thank you.

Donations can be made by check, made out to “Berkeley High School Jazz” and mailed to the following address:

Bill Bennett Scholarship Fund

We are deeply grateful to the family of the late Bill Bennett and the generous donors to the Bill Bennett Scholarship Fund. The Bill Bennett Scholarship Fund supports our ability to offer financial assistance to students with demonstrated financial need so that they can support their musical development with individual lessons and the opportunity to attend music camps. Bill Bennett was the Principal Oboist with the San Francisco Symphony and the father of a Berkeley High Jazz alum Danny Bennett, class of 2013.

Another way to support BHS Jazz is by purchasing some great swag! We offer t-shirts, hats and water bottles that enable you to show you are BHS Jazz proud. Grab some swag at one of our concerts or events!

Volunteer

Come be a part of the vibrant BHS Jazz Association. We are a group of parents passionate about making our kids’ experience in the BHS Jazz program the best that it can be. The Jazz program is incredibly strong, both because of Sarah Cline’s leadership and also because parents get involved to help make it all happen.

There are many ways to pitch in, big and small, and every effort makes a difference. From being on the Board, supporting shows and trips, to organizing snacks, volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, have fun and be a real part of the BHS Jazz community. We promise it will make you feel good.
