Berkeley High JAZZ Events
BHS Jazz bands perform 10 to 15 concerts per year at the Berkeley High campus, and at local venues such as the Freight & Salvage, Yoshi's, Zellerbach Hall, and UC Theatre.

SWING NIGHT! -- Nov. 20

Please join BHS Jazz and the BHS Dance program for the first annual SWING NIGHT at Jackets Gym on Thursday, November 20 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dance lessons, great swing music from all five BHS Jazz bands, and food for sale by The Bay's Taco Truck and Quick Dog.

Did you know that our five bands pay at ALL of Berkeley's public elementary schools every year? Early exposure creates interest in the jazz programs once kids reach high school. This is just one of our outreach and inclusion programs.
